Traditional French sailor or ‘marinière’ stripes in Indigo and off-white are given a modern boost of colour with an intricately-patterned Fair Isle yoke in an unusual and modern mix of colours including Mimosa Yellow, Coral, Lime, Turquoise, Pinks and heathered Greens.

The shape is classic and flattering with its loose fit, and falling just at the hipbone. Round neckline. Can also be made up as a cardigan.

Handmade by me in my studio in Normandy in 100% lamswool, which is warm yet soft and light-weight (see ‘About the knitwear and yarns’ for more details of my yarn quality).
